yesterday was our annual open house and, as the Good Book says, with the eyes of many witnesses:

ISRAEL IS WALKING!!!

i'm not sure why he waited until everyone was there, but he did and it was wonderful to share the moment with our family and friends.

he hated getting that bulky snowsuit on, but it was worth it once he got to the snow! one part was especially fun to watch. he couldn't figure out why he wasn't able to pick things up (he had mittens on). he tried and tried to pick up some leaves, but alas gave up and just rolled and crawled in the snow. it was his first snow and he loved it!
