was there a game yesterday?

• i don't see the point of a game where you root for a team that you actually wanted your team to beat earlier in the season.
• i don't see the point of using a game as an excuse for gluttony.
• i don't see the point of the hype connected with the commercials, for you will see them all within a month anyways.
• i don't see the point of yelling at the television
• i don't see the point of cancelling important life events because of the game
• i don't see the point of professional sports (what a waste of time and money)

Lord, help us all keep perspective on what is really important. and, Lord, haste the day when we are as excited to see a life impacted by grace as we are about quarterback sack.
